Announcing our 2026 International Women’s Day Honoree

Published on May 9, 2026
One of the most meaningful parts of Women in Title is hearing the stories behind the women in this industry. We get to hear behind-the-scenes details and memorable moments that help shape who we are.

This year, we’re honored to recognize Julie Tondelli of Schmitt Title, LLC as our 2026 International Women’s Day Honoree.

Julie was nominated by someone who has known her for years, both professionally and personally. What stood out about Julie, besides her examination skills, was her selflessness. It was the way she showed up when someone she cared about was going through one of the hardest moments of her life.

When her coworker experienced a sudden medical emergency during a high-risk pregnancy, Julie immediately stepped in to help care for her children, support her family, and stay by her side through weeks of uncertainty and recovery. She was there from the very first emergency phone call all the way through surgery and recovery.

If we’re being honest, so many women in this industry know exactly what that looks like. The meals dropped off quietly. The late-night phone calls answered without hesitation. The “I’ve got you” moments that happen without needing recognition for it afterward.

Julie’s nominator called her “an asset to humanity because of her selflessness,” and after reading her story, we couldn’t agree more.

At Women in Title, we talk a lot about community, and Julie is a reminder of what real community actually looks like. Beyond networking and professional support, real human support.

Julie, thank you for being the kind of woman who makes people feel less alone in hard moments. We are incredibly proud to recognize you as Women in Title’s 2026 International Women’s Day Honoree!
