Women in Title Launches National Mentorship Program
DENVER, Colo. — Women in Title (WiT), the nonprofit organization dedicated to advocacy, collaboration, and empowerment within the title industry, today announced the launch of its national Mentorship Program, an initiative intentionally designed to develop future industry leaders and elevate diverse voices within the title community.
The program reflects Women in Title’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for growth through connection, guidance, and shared experience. While rooted in the organization’s mission of women supporting women, the program remains inclusive of all who support and advance the title industry.
Selected mentees will be thoughtfully matched with experienced industry professionals who have volunteered to invest their time, knowledge, and leadership in helping others grow both personally and professionally.
“Some of the most valuable lessons in my career didn’t come from a classroom or a training manual,” said Kim Whitlock, Founder and President of Women in Title. “They came from people who took the time to answer questions, share their experiences, and encourage me along the way. We are fortunate to have incredible leaders in this industry, and this program creates an opportunity to connect those leaders with professionals who are ready to learn, grow, and invest in their future.”
The Women in Title Mentorship Program is open to professionals across all areas of the title and settlement services industry, whether they are new to the industry, preparing for leadership opportunities, or looking to expand their knowledge and professional network.
-
Through the program, mentees will have the opportunity to:
-
Receive one-on-one guidance from experienced industry leaders.
-
Gain practical insight into career growth and leadership.
-
Expand their professional network.
-
Build confidence through accountability and ongoing support.
- Develop meaningful, lasting relationships within the industry.
“As a co-chair of the committee and an executive board member of Women in Title, this program is incredibly meaningful to me because it reflects exactly why Women in Title exists—women supporting women in ways that are real, intentional, and lasting,” said Candi Slobodnik, “I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when someone takes the time to invest in your growth and leadership, and that’s what we set out to create here. We’re creating a pathway for future leaders in the title industry by investing in connection, encouraging accountability, and supporting both professional and personal growth.”
Applications for the inaugural mentorship cohort are now open.
