Hats, Boots & Big Conversations: Women in Title Brings Community Together in Austin

Austin showed up in a big way for Women in Title during this year’s FORES and Gathering conferences.
On Tuesday evening, WiT hosted a Texas Takeover Happy Hour at Ellis in downtown Austin, bringing together conference attendees, local members, and industry friends for an evening that felt equal parts networking event and reunion. Sponsored by Rexera and First National Title Insurance Company, the event welcomed women from across the country alongside members of the local Texas title community.
And yes… the hats and boots made an appearance too.
The energy of the evening was big, Texas big! Conversations between people who had only previously connected online. New introductions happening next to longtime industry friendships. Women from different companies, markets, and roles coming together without titles or competition getting in the way.
We are seeing a clear and powerful trend with our Women in Title events. Whether someone walks in knowing one person or twenty, they leave feeling like they belong there.
With both FORES and HousingWire’s The Gathering bringing so many industry professionals to Austin that week, the timing created the ideal opportunity to connect people who might not otherwise have crossed paths. Local members welcomed out-of-town attendees, conference conversations carried into real relationship-building, and the WiT community once again proved how small this industry can feel in the best possible way.
From laughter over cocktails to spontaneous group photos on the patio, pur Texas Takeover reflected exactly what Women in Title was built for: creating spaces where women in this industry can connect, collaborate, and genuinely enjoy being together.
