Women in Title Launches the Mary O’Donnell Pathways Scholarship
Sometimes opportunity starts with simply getting in the room and we want to help more women find their way in.
Women in Title (WiT) is proud to introduce the Mary O’Donnell Pathways Scholarship, created to help remove barriers that can prevent women in the title and escrow industry from attending meaningful industry events. This year, WiT will award scholarships to two women, giving each the opportunity to attend an eligible industry event.
Mary O’Donnell was a visionary and trailblazer who forged new paths for women throughout our industry. She led with authenticity, remained deeply relatable and understood the power of opening doors for others. This scholarship carries that legacy forward by giving another woman the opportunity to learn, connect and see what may be possible for her career.
At Women in Title, we have a genuine desire to lift other women. Many of us know firsthand how powerful these experiences can be and we want more women to have the chance to share in them. To learn something new. To make a connection that changes their path. To leave feeling more confident, supported and excited about what comes next.
This scholarship is made possible with the support of our incredible partners. Their investment in Women in Title helps us turn our shared commitment to supporting women into real opportunities.
The scholarship will cover event registration and hotel accommodations during one of the following 2026 events:
- ALTA ONE — Scottsdale, Arizona | October 12–15
- Women’s Leadership Summit — San Antonio, Texas | November 2–3
Applicants may apply for either or both events, only one will be awarded per winner. Travel, meals, additional hotel nights and incidental expenses are not included.
The Mary O’Donnell Pathways Scholarship is open to women working in the title and/or escrow industry who have their employer’s approval to attend. Applicants will be invited to share what barriers have made attending an event like this difficult and what the experience would mean to them personally and professionally. No specific financial information is required.
The selected recipient won’t just receive a conference registration and hotel stay. She’ll walk into the event with the Women in Title community behind her. A network ready to welcome her, support her and help turn one opportunity into many more.
